Tennis and Racquet Sports Study

The City is undertaking a Tennis and Racquet Sports Study to assess existing racquet sports courts, like tennis or pickleball, and assess community needs, to help the City respond to changing facility use and demand. Once complete, the study will help improve access and operations, including the number, location and types of facilities, and help the City recognize how to effectively meet the growing and changing needs and expectations of residents and community sports organizations, across Vaughan.

Get involved

Initial public feedback collected helped the City assess how people use existing racquet sports courts and programming and identify community needs and preferences. Now, as the study progresses to Phase 2, we need your input once again – this time, we want to understand what’s important to you, what we should prioritize when considering options to improve racquet sports access, including choices and trade-offs.

• Thursday, April 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Vellore Village Community Centre (1 Villa Royale Ave.), in the main-floor Cafetorium. 

The project team will be on-site to answer any questions, facilitate interactive activities and more.
